Altar Skycam

(snapshots from video)

Having a wedding at a place where videographers are not permitted near the altar? But you would like something more than just the backs of the bride's and groom's heads (or a static boring wide-angle "face" shot) during the entire ceremony in the wedding video?

Might have the solution for you.

We have done this setup several times, the church was kind enough to let us put this one-of-a-kind remote-control skycam at one corner of the altar, with the wire running through a side door and back to the main camera right of the pews. Not only was our videographer at the main camera able to see what the skycam was looking at in real time, he could also control what the camera did, including pan, tilt, zoom, and most importantly record, in real time. The concept of the altar skycam on all our wedding deployments have been unqualified successes!

And yes, the OKPhotos.com skycam has the same broadcast-quality professional video camera (full screen and widescreen) as the rest of our cameras, with a 120-foot remote extension, and can rise 12 feet into the air.

Of course, the usage and placement of the Skycam is subjected to the cooperation of the church, the physical layout of the sanctuary, and whether a 2nd cameraman is needed (usually a must for a large church) and available to operate the Skycam for the package you chosen.

Only $99 extra to upgrade one of the cameras to skycam. Please ask us about the altar skycam if you are in a similar situation.
